SOLAR INSTALLER - ELECTRICIAN– San Diego, CA

TASKS FOR SUCCESS:
- Participate in required weekly/monthly safety meetings and set the example for your team
- Run conduits and wiring on roof
- Install penetrations, racking and solar panels
- Change plans accordingly and comes up with solutions
- Provide high level of customer service
- Communicate with field project manager frequently
- Maintain safety at job site
- Maintain and manage solar installation crew including lunch and break times
- Maintain company truck keeping it full and clean
- Proudly maintain the highest quality of installations
- Take and submit required quality control pictures
- Install, wire and troubleshoot Enphase, SolarEdge and SMA inverters
- Install UNIRAC, Ironridge and Prosolar Racking system
- Install penetrations on shingle, tile and another type of roofs
- Professionally install and seal penetration with the highest quality
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to work in extreme environments (example: hot sun, cold)
- High school diploma or GED required
- Proficiency in installing all types of grid-tied inverters & able to work with various ground and roof mount racking systems
- NEC codes that relate to PV installations
- Must be very organized and be able to meet timeline expectations
- Must deliver a high level of customer service
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Must be willing and able to climb ladders and work on high roofs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
- Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment criminal, driving and drug screen
- Must have a valid state driver’s license
